Cine dilated axillary vein (clip #1) - Very fine detail of a superficial vein can be seen in these two clips. Clip #1 is with Superb Microvascular Imaging – demonstrating the blood flow through the vein and through the valvular gates. In clip #2, the B-mode image gives a clear illustration of the real time anatomy where valvular leaflets are easily discerned. B-mode flow, including significant eddies behind the dilated valve leaflets, can be clearly visualised as well.

CCA doppler luminance with pulse wave - Doppler Luminance enhances visualisation of flow dynamics. Changes to heamodynamics are better represented with this technology. Doppler Luminance is available with all other colour doppler technologies like ADF, Power, and SMI and can also be used simultaneously with pulsed wave doppler.

Arcuate vessels mSMI with pulsed wave - Often arcuate vessels can be difficult to assess due to their size. SMI has been designed to assess low flow vessels with excellent detection and spatial resolution. We can now see these small vessels more easily. This allows improved accuracy and ease in renal transplant work.
