Canon Medical Systems Aquilion ONE CT systems (Aquilion ONE, Aquilion ONE ViSION Edition & Aquilion ONE GENESIS Edition) are uniquely designed with a 16cm wide volume detector with 320 x high resolution 0.5mm slices, which is the key technology that makes dynamic volume CT imaging possible.
Due to limited detector coverage, most other CT systems are forced to employ table movement in order to achieve the required coverage. The introduction of table motion severally restricts the ability to capture complex joint motion with the required coverage, the required spatial resolution and the required temporal resolution. Only Aquilion ONE systems deliver on all of these fundamental requirements to provide the optimal dynamic Volume CT MSK imaging solution.
