The Aplio i-series has 2D wall motion tracking strain that is semi-automated, flexible and easy to use and suitable for the daily examination. It provides accurate results with high reproducibility, and a bull’s eye display that offers a visual overview of the global longitudinal and regional LV strain.
The Aplio i-series allows you to perform accurate analysis of 3D left ventricular (LV) strain. Utilising 3D volumetric speckle tracking technology for rapid assessment of LV function, improve the diagnostic and clinical outcomes for your patients with heart failure and left ventricular dysfunction.
Unique to the Aplio i-series, you can now in addition perform accurate analysis of 3D right ventricular (RV) strain. Using the same 3D volumetric speckle tracking technology to assess the true RV anatomic shape and function, improve the diagnostic and clinical outcomes for your patients with cardio-pulmonary disease and right heart failure.
The Aplio i-series has intuitive and precise 3D/4D imaging. Advanced features include single button or flexible crop planes allowing the operator total control over the anatomic views. Packed with innovative rendering software such as Luminance, Shadow Glass and light source location which allow for an enhanced appreciation of your patient’s heart valve condition. And of course it does great 4D colour Doppler too.
The Aplio i-series can perform a complex analysis of more than 40 different anatomic measurements of the mitral and aortic valves in approximately 30 seconds. Plan with confidence your next interventional or surgical approach with a quantitative understanding of the valvular abnormality.

Artificial Intelligence: How useful is Auto EF with Aplio i-series?
Assessment of LVEF and GLS may be useful to guide clinical management, but manual measurements are often time consuming and variable leading to visual assessment. Aplio i-series systems offer fully automated measurement of EF with GLS that could standardise these measurements to facilitate better patient care. |

2D Wall Motion Tracking (WMT): strain now routine with Aplio i-series
2D strain uses speckle tracking for quantifying LV function, which is particularly useful in patients with borderline LV function because of the potential to identify subclinical conditions. Canon Medical’s Aplio i-series systems offer the ability to detect and treat underlying disease early improving prognosis. |

3D Wall Motion Tracking (WMT): Is 3D strain the way of the future with Aplio i-series?
3D wall motion tracking provides strain measurements simultaneously in multiple directions, while offering new parameters in principal and area strain. With Canon Medical’s Aplio i-series 900 CV system, 3D strain is becoming integral for accurately predicting the severity and prognosis of ventricular dysfunction. |
