Communicate your results more efficiently with PI-RADS 2.0 dedicated prostate reporting.

PI-RADS 2.0 DEDICATED PROSTATE REPORTING

Vitrea® prostate applications offer instant comprehensive lesion assessment and high-quality diffusion assessment, making communicating your results more efficiently.

The Prostate application is integrated into Vitrea Advanced Visualization and provides lesion detection, characterisation and staging.
  • Offers instant comprehensive lesion assessment and high-quality diffusion assessment
  • Gives meaningful reporting including lesion location and volumes
  • Provides PI-RADS V2 recommendations to standardise terminology and content of reports and clarify the level of suspicion or risk of clinically significant tumours
Includes the following common protocols:
  • Advanced Multiparametric Analysis
  • Dynamic Contrast Enhanced (DCE) Permeability
  • Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI)
  • Kinetics

DTI-Fibertracking

Automatically compute tensor maps and track fibers from specific area or whole brain.

DWI OF THE PROSTATE

Should we use quantitative metrics to better characterise focal lesions originating in the peripheral zone?

This review aims to show the different quantitative parameters available to evaluate the performance of quantitative MRI with a special focus on score 3 lesions.

Olea Nova™+

“Olea Nova+ allows for the Realtime tissue characterisation of lesions in the prostate by only changing the calculated TE value on Olea Sphere. Olea Nova Plus of the prostate enhances the clinical confidence since the calculated TE values/images can be calculated retrospectively. This New Clinical feature from Canon Medical changes the way of evaluating cancers of the prostate while reducing the overall examination time.”

Cardiac Solutions

“In cardiac MRI, T1 mapping allows us to evaluate the myocardial tissue properties quantitatively. Even for diffuse lesion that are difficult to be evaluated with LGE, we can evaluate in absolute value with T1 mapping. Therefore, it contributes to the improvement of the diagnostic ability and give additional values to the image diagnosis.”

T1 Mapping

“T1 Mapping allows us to identify the pathologic area without the injection of contrast. In general, a prolonged native myocardial T1 signal is encountered in various disease states that result in edema or fibrosis, and in amyloid deposition.”

Wall Motion Tracking

“With Wall Motion Tracking, local wall motion abnormalities associated with ischemia or cardiomyopathy can be evaluated using automatically calculated myocardial strain values. The presence of cardiac motion dyskinesia, which is an indication for cardiac resynchronisation therapy, can also be detected by analysing multiple myocardial strain curves. In addition, global strain, which is a useful index for prognostic assessment and treatment planning in patients with cardiac failure, can be calculated automatically using both short-axis and long-axis images."
