TOSHIBA MEDICAL OFFICIAL CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

Dear Valued Customer,

Change of company name

We are delighted to announce that effective 4^th January 2018, Toshiba Medical Systems ANZ Pty Limited will change its name to Canon Medical Systems ANZ Pty Limited completing the transition of Toshiba Medical to the Canon Group.

As Toshiba Medical and Canon join forces we look forward to the synergies this partnership will offer our customers. Our healthcare business is thriving and the strength of Toshiba Medical is the reason Canon, a well-respected and global leader in imaging solutions, acquired us.

Canon has a strong vision for building a world-class healthcare enterprise and we are certain that Toshiba Medical’s 100 year history and our “Made for Life” philosophy will continue to drive this company forward.

Finally, our banking BSB and account number is unchanged, except for the account name that will become Canon Medical Systems Pty Limited.

Please adjust your records accordingly from the 4^th January 2018 (and please excuse that this letter is written on current letterhead as we are precluded from using new naming until the “go-live” date of 4^th January).

Product & Equipment Branding & Compliance Plates

From the beginning of December 2017 product and equipment in the process of being manufactured will no longer include the TOSHIBA brand name and for a period of time there will be no company branding appearing on newly manufactured systems. It is expected that the CANON brand should start appearing on production systems from the end of the second quarter in 2018. However, the TOSHIBA logo may remain in place on some components of a system for a period of time.

With regard to compliance labels (or name plates), which must conform with legal requirements for labeling, the name “Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation” will appear on all systems manufactured up to the 4^th January 2018 after which “Canon Medical Systems Corporation” will be used.

Please note that there is no plan to modify the brand name of systems currently installed or apply the CANON brand to systems with no branding.
