APLIO A-SERIES A550 AND A450 REVEALED AT ASA 2018

Aplio a-series a450 and a550 Launch

ADVANCED. SEAMLESS. INTEGRATED.

In the lead-up to ASA 2018 conference Canon Medical Systems’ unveiled it’s new Aplio a-series ultrasound systems to the Asia-Pacific. Celebrating the launch of next generation ultrasound technology to the Australian and New Zealand markets with an evening of canapés and cocktails and presentations.

» First impressions: visually a small compact machine, clean lines with minimal clutter on the console. With only three hours of supervision with an applications person, I was running the machine with a full scanning list by myself. «

Guests of the launch were amoungst the first to experience the newest Aplio a-series systems, and heard first impressions on the latest ultrasound developments from Canon Medical Systems ANZ. The launch featured the new Aplio a550 and a450 systems and ultra-high frequency aBeam technology.

The night was hosted by Canon Medical Systems own ultrasound specialists and in-field experts: Dr Antony Friedman, Marilyn Zelesco and Peter Murphy.

Prior to the launch Canon Medical Systems’ presented a full day of MSK and Shear wave Liver clinical sessions delivered by industry-leading guest speakers, including Stephen Bird, Claudio Pizzolato representing Griffith University and AIS research, Sandra O’Hara and Marilyn Zelesco. The in-depth sessions explored how ultra-high frequency technology is transforming ultrasound. Along with live scanning and interactive workshops.

The systems were also revealed on the first day of the ASA 2018 conference.
