Outstanding clinical precision and productivity
On the Aplio i600
Aplio i-series is designed to deliver outstanding clinical precision and productivity. Crystal-clear images with enhanced resolution and penetration as well as an abundance of expert tools help you get your diagnostic answer quickly and reliably.
Aplio i600 gives me a uniform image, with clarity from the skin surface to the pectoral muscle, regardless of breast density.
Dennis Peel, Sonographer in Charge – Queensland Diagnostic Imaging (QDI)
If you look purely at the B-mode image quality, the linear arrays on the i-series show the first centimetre of tissue in clarity, which is unseen before.
Stephen Bird, Sonographer – Benson Radiology & Ultrasound Educator
Clinical Case Study
Canon Medical continues to lead the way with ultrasound innovation. Unparalleled detailed imaging of small structures coupled with excellent colour sensitivity are key elements in the diagnosis of paediatric ultrasound and appreciated on both the Aplio 500 and Aplio i600. The Aplio i600 is designed to provide faster workflow and usability. The iPerformance processing power of the Aplio i600 maintains image quality whilst preserving high frames rates. Most of the Aplio 500 transducers are compatible with the Aplio i600. The superior image quality of the Aplio 500 has migrated to the Aplio i600 with some advancement in technologies such as the improvement in ADF sensitivity.
Beyond 2D Pelvis
Clinical Case Study
The Aplio i600 provides excellent contrast and spatial resolution allowing easy diagnosis of small structures like intrauterine adhesions and subtle adnexal masses. The next generation of a new 3D/4D transvaginal probe maintains excellent 2D and 3D imaging resolution with much larger sweep angles (150 degrees), and fast sweep speeds. In addition, SMI technology is vastly improved on the i600 with even greater sensitivity and less motion artefact. Advanced technologies such as Fly thru and Omniview provide the referring physician with more valuable information to help determine the best treatment and management for the patient. In this case, the demonstration of a normal endometrial cavity and accurate lesion location will help target further investigations with the possibility of avoiding invasive surgical procedures.
