Days 1 & 2: Introduction to Cardiac CT For Radiographers
Canon Medical Office - Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th March

Day one will include information on patient preparation, ECG basics, anatomy, scan techniques and troubleshooting.

Day two will consist of a practical hands-on sessions that cover cardiac CT post-processing using the Vitrea advanced visualisation software.


Day 3: Live Scanning and Troubleshooting Workshop
Monash Medical Centre - Wednesday 20th March from 1pm to 7pm

In addition to Days 1 & 2, join us for an evening at Monash Medical Centre to learn more about the practical aspects of cardiac CT on the Aquilion ONE, ViSION or GENESIS Edition scanner. This course will consolidate knowledge gained from our regular two day Cardiac CT Course for Radiographers (also available March 18-19 in Melbourne).

Day 3

  • Welcome by Marcus Crossett (CT Supervisor, Southern Health), and presentation of cardiac CT workflow employed at Monash Heart, one of the “premier cardiac services in Australia and the world”.
  • Observation of live scanning, with advice from Monash Heart staff, as well as Canon Medical Systems CT Applications Specialists
  • Troubleshooting (ECG editing and CardioImageXact) of previous cases on the CT console, once live scanning has finished
